📘 WinstarCloud Quick Start Guide

WinstarCloud is the cloud-based interface for managing your radar signs, traffic cameras, and smart traffic enforcement systems. WinstarCloud simplifies the experience — all technical setup is handled for you. This guide explains how to use the platform as an organization-level user and how to create and manage subusers of the same client group.

🔐 Signing In

1. Please Note: The default sign-in for all users is at winstarcloud.com; however, large organizations or traffic enforcement clients may be assigned a dedicated subdomain (e.g.,organization.winstarcloud.com) for enhanced access and isolation.
2. Visit https://winstarcloud.com
3. Enter your Email and Password
4. Click Sign In

If you're logging in for the first time, you'll be prompted to set your password via an activation link.

🔄 Resetting Your Password

1. Go to https://winstarcloud.com
2. Click “Forgot Password?”
3. Enter your registered email address
4. Follow the instructions emailed to you

👥 Adding Subusers of the Same Client Group

1. From the main dashboard, click the “Users” or “Subusers” section in the sidebar
2. Click the ➕ Add User button
3. Enter the new subuser’s email address
4. Select a role (e.g., Read-only, Operator, Manager)
5. Assign dashboards or device access as needed
6. Click Create

The new subuser will receive an email to set up their password and access their dashboard.

📟 Viewing Devices

1. Click on Entities in the left navigation panel
2. Select Devices
3. Use the table to view your assigned devices
4. Click any device to open its details and telemetry

Each device includes tabs for:

• Attributes – Device info like serial number and firmware version
• Telemetry – Live data such as speed or sensor readings
• Events & Alarms – Warnings and alerts
• Relations – Associated dashboards or assets

📊 Accessing Dashboards

1. Navigate to Dashboards from the sidebar
2. Click on any dashboard to view device metrics and alarms

🛑 Alarm Notifications

• Alarms appear via the 🔔 bell icon in the top-right corner
• You can acknowledge or clear alarms using the Alarms Table widget
• Subusers of the same client group only see alarms related to their assigned devices

⚙️ Subuser Management Tips

• Admins can assign a default dashboard to subusers
• Fullscreen mode simplifies the dashboard experience
• Manage or remove subusers from the Users section
