The Winstar Community Speed Radar System uses Doppler Radar technology to measure and record vehicle speeds with precision across multiple lanes day or night, in all weather conditions. Communities can configure the system for traffic studies, speed data gathering, and community safety initiatives, helping identify problem areas and support traffic-calming decisions. This system is fully upgradeable — allowing communities to start with speed detection today and later add camera traffic monitoring or license plate recognition (LPR) for full monitoring and enforcement.

With IP65-rated weather protection, AC or solar power options, and secure web-based control, this system delivers dependable results and long-term reliability for continuous traffic monitoring.

For best performance, we recommend A/C Wired power with a direct ethernet connection, installed by a Winstar Professional Installation Partner or a qualified local contractor. Please review our Recommended Installation Guide and Specifications.
